Swedish sister-act, First Aid Kit. Their new record came out last week and it is all manner of golden sunsets and ghost-girl country harmonies, except they are not done up in country spangles, they have heavy bangs and even heavier sweaters. Which I think is a solid parallel of their sound: like old country records, but bundled in a thick woolen thrift sweater. Their record makes me feel like I should be living someplace sandy and letting my my hair get long and tangley in the wild wind. This vid is straight up witch vibes, teen girl nature coven and tons of rings.
